jayhai
my door broke on my old 300d. It has the same detatchable lever bolt action hinge thing. I called canon, and ordered the part. It was a whopping $12 dollars. the 20d might be different, but I would call canon and see.
danny lee
buy the batterygrip, and you wont need the door !
medina photography cherry
second the grip. If you buy the grip you won't need the door and you can use 2 batteries.
William Kahn
Danny and Robert beat me to it. Go for the grip!
theoldmoose
Yeah, the grip is relatively cheap, although the one for the 20D looks like 'bigfoot', compared to the one for the Rebel. In any event, after you get the grip, get the hand strap, which needs the anchor on the bottom of the grip for attachment. Once you use the handstrap, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. For instructions on how to attach the strap (it comes with no instructions) download the 1Ds manual from the Canon website. It's in there.
