Unless I've missed something, the Instruction Book does not explain how the the *stepless* shutter mode works in Auto - - other than to say that it is stepless. You need to go to Erwin Putz's detailed review of the M7 to really understand how the shutter really works. Oh, and get a magnifying glass to read the small print in the manual.
