Lustrecolor in Canton MA. 800-827-7101. FTP, Lablink Plus, and Designer album pages.

They print on Kodak Endura Paper and also offer online services as well as drop shipping to

your customers. My studio has used them for over 20 years and have always been satisfied.

They even offer C-41 and Scanning.

I doubt that Millers is putting out really bad skin tones from digital prints--I could be wrong. They are one of the best in the business--so I've heard. I use Pounds myself, and the skin tones are nice, but I have calibrated my monitor and used their own calibration kit. I'd try to work with Millers more rather than bounce around trying to look for a lab that just happens to fit better with the way your monitor shows the files, especially if you haven't calibrated it.

I have to agree with Nadine & Todd on this. I really doubt if this is a Miller's thing. I use them or MPix (4x6s are cheaper) exclusively. Miller's is one of the best & if you're "qualified" to use them, great for you.

I really don't know your level of expertise in Photoshop, but try this link from SmugMug. It pertains to "getting the red out" of skin tones.

As we are all aware. Digital just doesn't have the latitude that film does for the lab to help out much. You pretty well have to hit it "dead on" before you send the files.

Hope this helps.

I don't think it's a Miller's thing either. I use Miller's exclusively and the flesh tones are always wonderful. have you asked them to redo any? Do you get them color corrected or not? They are so friendly I would suggest calling them up and asking about it. Every time I've had questions they've been more than helpful.
