Xpan film developing

For E-6 I use the A and I mailers, $7.00 as of Oct. '05 and simply write 'no cut' in the area for 'special instructions'. It comes back nicely sleeved in a continous uncut roll. For B/W I process it myself as B/W mailers are $19.50. The color and B/W mailers would normally include prints. I am not sure if that is the case for the xpan, that question would have to be addressed by the lab. For local labs I ask the person if the film can be processed w/o cut and usually it is not a problem.<div>00Dy4g-26213084.jpg.385c2c7c348f0f558f8ce94631705197.jpg</div>

The rate is the same. Just make double sure that whomever is doing the processing/printing

knows that the film isn't to be cut. I dropped off a couple of rolls of chromes at Adorama and

specified 'no cut'. Apparently, the guy taking the order didn't put it down on the order sheet.

Fortunately, the other guy looked at them before putting them in the automated mounting

machine...

Now, I tape the canister so it can't be opened, and write on the tape in large letters....
