kent_morris
I just was on Adobe's site and there is now Elements 4? I thought 3 was not that old? Anybody know anything about it?
john kissane
Ya, a lot of folks over on the PS Elements forum are bitching up a storm over it, claiming 1) it's only a fix of a few bugs from 3 and they are being charged for it 2) losing their old browser for the new organizer (which a lot of people hate) and 3) price and no real discount for upgrade. etc. Then the Mac folks are bitching because there is no Mac Vs. 4, yet. Go figure.
edward_h
We are y'all all dumping on Adobe? They're just a giant multinational company that's trying to make a few bucks. Now don't be communists. Go buy whatever Adobe tells you to buy, whenever they tell you to buy it! Don't forget to activate your software, because otherwise you're a communist pirate! Aar, me hearties! (I myself use Gimp which is completely free, and none of my customers have ever complained).
lex_jenkins
Currently there's a deal on buying one of the small Wacom tablets and Elements 3 as a bundle for around $100. That may be an attractive deal for folks who tried the Elements 3 trial version and liked it well enough to buy it.
