photo montage/collage

I have seen numerous photographers portraying a baby in one large

picture with numerous images. One in particular is a baby walking.

This is obviously 5 or 6 individual frames of the child taking

steps, but has been formulated into one picture- a kind of

collage/montage that looks like one pic. I do baby and children

photography and use photoshop elements and was wondering how one

does this.

That would make it easier for anyone who wants to help you understand what exactly you are looking for.

I'm guessing this composite image is all white background (or at least all one color background). It's the easiest.

So start there. Take a series of shots with a white background, preferably paper backdrop. Be cafefully aware of shadows on the backdrop.

Now take these images and layer them into one photoshop file. Resize and adjust the layers to taste.

With enough planning, the photoshop part is easy.
