lisa_moss
HELP! I HAVE RECENTLY STARTED TAKING PHOTOS FOR OUR LOCAL REC PROGRAM. UP UNITL KNOW I HAVE TAKEN ALL THE PICS OUTDOORS AND IT'S BEEN GREAT. HOWEVER, THIS TIME IT'S BASKETBALL AND I HAVE TO TAKE THE PICTURES IN THE GYM WITH A BACKDROP AND LIGHTS, BOTH OF WHICH I DON NOT HAVE OR HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. I HAVE A REBEL XT AND WILL BE TAKING BOTH A TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL PICTURE. MY QUESTIONS ARE: WHAT TYPE OF LIGHTS SHOULD I USE? THE TEAMS ARE SMALL ABOUT 8 PLAYERS SO WHAT SIZE BACKDROP SHOULD I USE? I HAVE TO ADMIT I AM NOT VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ON THE TECHNICAL END OF PHOTOGRAPHY, BUT I AM TRYING TO LEARN MORE. IF THERE ARE ANY BOOKS THAT CAN BE RECOMMENDED THAT WOULD BE GREAT. ANY AND ALL ADVICE IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. I ENJOY READING THROUGH THE FORUM AND HAVE LEARNED ALOT SIMPLY FROM PROFESSIONALS RESPONSES. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
