Arista.EDU film green tint

Recommended Posts

What are y'alls experiences with Arista.EDU? I processed the first 2

rolls of my life in HC 110 last night - HP5 and Arista.EDU 400, both

in 120. The HP5 came out fine, good density, no streaks, very little

curl etc.

However, the Arista.EDU came out with a greenish tint and lots of

curl. It is still a-curl between my prized versions of 2004 and 2005

yellow books. I think I developed for too long (7 mins) in Dil B.

Any thoughts?

I haven't used Arista EDU film, but I've developed curly 120 film, especially Berger 200... In

the winter, I used a humidifier in the room where the film was drying, left the film to hang

overnight hung from a clothesline with heavy clips at the bottom and it was much less curly

the next morning. I don't think developing time had any effect on curl. I wouldn't worry

about a greenish tint.
