sawrahh
Hi. I am trying to find a website online where i can post my wedding pictures or portrait session online for clients to view in there homes and place orders. I don't want to spend a lot of money on it but I do what something nice that will protect my images. If you have or know of any good sites to check out please let me know!! t._duane_jones
I started using Event pix this year. They charge a one time $99 fee. After that, you can pay by each event that you upload, or by several other methods. You can handle the orders yourself, or choose one of their labs to take care of order fulfillment for you. I have a part time person that handles the orders for me. There are several other companies out there that does the same thing...check them out and see which one works best for your business. Best of luck. Duane
tonylarcombe
Sara, just this week I joined smugmug, they've got a 7 day free trial, you can upload (easy to do) and set your own prices per photo, the photos are right click protected and can have PROOF watermark on each if desired. It's $100 a year for the professional package, which you'll need if yuo want to set your own prices, you can update the screen how you like
dave_hoffmann
Not sure about "protecting your images", but you can try photoreflect.com, shutterfly.com, printroom.com, morephotos.com, and dotphoto.com to see what they have to offer. kari douma
I too just started using eventpix.com. They are secure, watermark your images, and you can set your own prices. So far so good!
nick_w.
I'm doing the 15-day trial at exposure manager Their monthly prices are low and you have unlimited space, I believe. I used Smug mug but found it hard to navigate and generally disorganized. Exposure manager.com is relatively new and the support team is really eager to help answer questions when setting up your personal page. They lack a good FAQ page but say they're working on it. Give their trial a shot.

lb-
I've not used them but digilabs.biz seems to have a percentage deal. I think it's 17% for the hosting and credit card processing and you can set your own prices. Plus their gallery page is not branded by them at all so all the better. I'm going to order a few prints from them to check the quality but I do so few jobs where the print sales thing is an issue that I like not having to pay a monthly fee. cheers
cwolfrom
Give Photoworks SF a try. Really good services with their Pro account.
colleendonovan
Try photo biz. You can watermark your photos, and they are right click protected. You set your own prices and you can have more than one pricelist. Like, i have one for seniors and a different one for weddings, etc. You pay by the month (or you can pay for a whole year) and it starts out at $25 for 500 pictures. If you need more room you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. I like them so far. Very convenient.
barry_davis___st._louis__m
candid2000 and then look for their photo.us site! Each upload is $4.95 for unlimited pictures. You set your own prices, they collect the dollars, (visa) and send you a check..."What a country". My clients love it, great quality! Pass out some sort of card for the event during the reception and hopefully you get relatives submitting orders!
conraderb
suggestions above sound good. I would recommend that you avoid Pictage. when they work well, they work well, but in my experience, they have pretty terrible customer service and will leave you to fend for yourself (making your look bad and your customers angry at your) when you need help.
