tomweis
I picked up a Nikon 75-150 Series E used for $50 in great cosmetic condition, but the focus is rough. I usually go to Photo Tech Repair on 13th Street, but I was wondering if any repair shops in NYC might sort of specialize in older Nikkors like this. Thanks for any advice. steve_levine
Most repair shop prices will cost more than another lens. It might be easier/cheaper, to simply find another used one.
vivek iyer
Try to fix it yourself or as Steve said, find another sample.
jv1
I bought one used for 30 EUR. Turned out to perform very badly (sticky diaphragm, extremely hard to focus...), even though the outside looked near-mint. So I went and bought another one for 18 EUR. This one is splendid, the optical quality is amazing. What I am saying is that it is not worth repairing. Save yourself the trouble and simply get another one. raywei
I love this lens, and I agree with Steve Levine. Go get another one might be a cheaper solution.
