mark_jacoby___raleigh__nc
I've seen Candid 2000 advertised in various publications and wonder if anyone has used their album services? Thanks! Mark
barry_davis___st._louis__m
Mark, I have an account with them as well as my local lab. I use my local for the exact same services. However, the wholesale prices were a bit better with Candid. But since my lab is local I frequent them for the one on one contact. I use Candid for the iPhoto (web ordering for my clients since the prices are excellent and the interface is really easy.) Any more questions just shoot! Both my local lab and Candid use the same COTS software and customize it to their own liking...I imagine many labs use the same software and put their name on it. anndee
I've used them for several years now and have had one Legend Album done by them. The software was web-based and easy to use. The album was cheaper than one by Zookbinders but it also cost less to produce. I found it to be perfect for the weddings or anniversaries where economy is a must because of the bride's budget. The album is certainly nice looking.
barry_davis___st._louis__m
Ann, is this the same "Candid" that's in Springfield , Mo? I didn't even realize they did albums?
anndee
Yes, this is the same lab. The album is pretty nice for an economy album. You can create a collage using their online software (drag and drop) and they assemble the album. It is an economy album, though, and can't really compare to - for example, a Zookbinders Flushmount album. But it's still quite nice - and the price is right. mark_jacoby___raleigh__nc
Thanks everyone. I think they will be able to fill my need for an inexpensive (but not cheap quality) album that I can completely outsource. Thanks!
emmett_s
I have used them and am very happy. Extremely good prints from film and digital, and very reasonable pricing.....have not done any albums with them yet..........
t._duane_jones
Mark, I have used Candid 2000 for my 10x10" prints since spring '05. The quality is excellent, and they use endura paper. I've never used their albums, though. Give them a shot.
