flying_tiger
I'm looking at the Massive Dev Chart and noticed that the processing time for APX100 (new) in Rodinal 1+50 is NOT avaialbe. What's the difference between APX 100 and APX 100(new)? I bought my 120 format APX100 about half a year ago. Are they the original or the "new"? What's the recommended processing time at 68F? Thanks. edward_zimmermann
There is NO APX-100-New.
arraga
I do development in a small tank, 13', 30 secs initial agitation, 5 inversions every minute, 68?F. Negatives print ok in grade 2 diffusor enlarger, Rodinal 1+50. Examples:
Waiting
Harley
Those were printed in grade 3, losing some detail in the shadows, because i liked the overall darker tone. chris_waller
APX 100 rated at 50 ASA, Rodinal 1:50, 20 C, 10 minutes. Four inversions in the first 30 seconds then one inverson every 30 seconds after that. That's for a diffuser head enlarger.
hilander
I just developed 16 rolls shot at EI 80 for 8.5 minutes in Rodinal 1+50. My water temp was closer to 71 degrees F. That's as cold as I could get it coming from the tap durung August in the Midwest! Negs look good. I'll be printing with a diffuser head enlarger. If you're printing with a condenser head or scanning I'd give it about 15-20% less time.
arachnophilia
i pretty much do it according to the box. 68F, 1:50, 17 minutes. out of curiosity, where is this 13 minute figure coming from?
