andre_reinders
Went out on Aug 01 with my daughter (just turned 4) - gave her the 'old' digicam, and I took my Mamiyaflex C. These are the 'best' 4 from a roll of XP2 Super. I used an orange filter as well. I had fun, and was pleased to hear that she did as well.<div></div>

roseberry guitars
Thanks for the photos Andre. I spent a good part of my youth in and around Calgary. Living on the West Coast now, I miss the open sky and fields that go rolling on as far as one can see. I really like the third one in the series. Good job! daniel_iggers
These are excellent. You must post at least one of your daughter's photos. Only fair, eh.
gene m
Beautifully done Andre. The photos are gorgeous, well conceived. I'm inspired.
grahams
Andre - your shots have terrific atmosphere - like "before the storm". Superb stuff. Gene's compliment says it all.
bj_bignell
Beautiful work, Andre. I'm jealous... Number two looks 'old-fashioned' and is very beautiful. Number three is excellent, really moody.
dave_s
Andre, out of curiosity, what EI and filter factor did you use? You've got very nice textured skies. I often have trouble getting good skies with XP2, even when I use an orange filter.
andre_reinders
Daniel - As requested, these were taken by my 4 year old daughter... Dave - When I inherited the TLR, it came with some filters...on the filter case was written "orange +1 1/3". Basically I eyeballed it (guessed) If I remember correctly I used Sunny 16 (F16 @ 1/500) + 1 stop cause it was cloudy, +1 stop for the filter - I settled for f11 @ 1/250 because I was hand holding....may have been 1/125 od a sec....also the filter is a Hoya.<div></div>
andre_reinders
another from my little girl...see the similarities? Now I just have to wean her from the automatic and get her started on the Nikkormat FT2.... ;)<div></div>
grahams
Bravo, Andre, for taking your daughter on a photo-shoot. I took my grandson (5 going on 6) on one recently, and was amazed at what came out of his camera. I hope your daughter likes the Nikormat!
