cher m
I'm going to shoot 6x12 pinholes in Prince Edward Island in July. The only filter I might try using is a polarizer. Reciprocity failure of films will be an issue to consider with longer exposures. Will be shooting in all kinds of lighting conditions: early morning, magic hour, sunny and overcast days. Given this, I'm hoping for suggestions on which colour films (slide or neg or both) might be the best to shoot with. Thanks!
silent1
Most color print films seem to work pretty well in pinhole photography. Can't tell you much about their reciprocity characteristics, but I've seen lots of color pinhole images shot on a huge variety of films. My own preference would be for Kodak Portra 160 NC or 400 NC (depending on the camera, the 400 might make for uncomfortably short exposures under bright conditions), but I've seen some stunning images made with the UC film as well. connealy
Looking forward to seeing some of those photos. The one shot at poolside you've put up is very nice. I was glad to see this new forum offers the possibilty of directly attaching shots as as it is a nice way to share some pictures without the clueless rating feedback.
