Hal's Holiday HOSTS

Since Nancy asked what am I doing with Hal's images, it has got me

thinking since this has been a wonderful holiday for Hal and the

images he has posted with help from his hosts have been most

inspiring.

I was thinking [always dangerous] that it might be nice if I put

together a web-presence for Hal's holdays. So, if all you past AND

future hosts of Hal could send me web-sized files [i am on dial-up]

of your 2 [two] best images from Hal's stay with you, I will put it

together - with all requisite details of the hosts [photographers].

Brilliant!! I can go to bed and sleep now!

Oh, come on, Andrea, Hal produced so many aw<strike><i>ful</i></strike><b>esome</b> pictures, it would be hard to chose only two! I alone have more than 60 <b><a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00C05A">presentable</a> <a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00C1Vm">images</a></b> and I am a terrible editor at deciding on which are the two "best". Give Hal some credit and let us pick maybe four, five or six so we could include some variation of street, landscape, portrait and "arty" photography pics of each participant/destination.<p>By the way, what details do you want to publish about us?

I'd prefer 2 because otherwise it will be Christmas before they have finished downloading! OK, OK, 4 that's my last offer. I will also put a link to your site / web-presence some persons can see the rest of them. I will put any details or none - as you wish!

Hey folks, thanks to you, and thanks to HAL, I've just registered with photo.net. :)

Some weeks ago I came across a funny looking camera at a junk store. I looked at it but didn't buy it. The week after I saw it again, this time I memorized it's name, Halina Paulette EE II, and when I got home I searched for some info, and found your inspiring story about the adventures of HAL! After that I sure had to buy this beauty! My Halina is much younger than yours, she's all black (yeah, it's a female)and looks like she's from the 80's or even the 90's. I haven't found one single image of a Halina like her on the web, and since I haven't learned how to upload images here yet I unfortunately can't show you how pretty she is (she looks like a lady dressed in black with a single red rose -that's the crown logo- in her hand..or something). Well anyway, I just hade to share this joy with you!
