glenn_thoreson
Well ,the camera is on it's way to Montana. While I wait for the color film to get back from the lab, I thought I would post one of the B&W shots here, to whet your apetite. Please remember, I have NO scanning skills, so if it doesn't look right, just consider the source. Enjoy.<div></div>
cenelsonfoto
Glenn! Thanks so much! Can't wait to see the rest! Check out Mark Plawchan's thread - he sent me the negs and I scanned them lickety-split, posted scans to that thread. He nailed some really nice comps. All of you folks participating are excellent people! Long live the Shurflash! Can't wait to see what Cabel shows the old gal in Montana!
andre_reinders
Wow - looks so 'pioneer' - so 'homestead' - so vintage! Great!
bill_winters
Great work Glenn! It has been a great pleasure viewing photos from this unique project. I have thourghly enjoyed each and every one of them. (Now if you would just consider the province of Alberta to be the 51st state for the duration of this project... hehe)
connealy
That's a fine photo. The qualities of the camera and lens really work with the composition to evoke a suggestion of a past time. The image has kind of a tenuous look; it seems that if you blinked the scene might just disappear.
glenn_thoreson
Thanks, everyone. It may well disappear one of these days, as it's actually right in the middle of town. Nothing ever happens fast around here, though, so it should be safe for a while. These old homesteads are one of my favorite subjects.
Sandeha Lynch
Craig, you're going to have to map out two weeks putting a webpage together for this project! That will be some presentation.
cenelsonfoto
Sandeha - you'll help me out though, yes? :)
mdcarma
The mystique of the high plains. Nice catch Glenn.
