joerg_dauerer1
Hello, I will be in Boston for a few days in July. I am looking for locations, from which I can get a good view of Zakim Bridge, without too much "disturbances" in the foreground (I have been looking for a good place to take a photo of Zakim Bridge last time I was in Boston, but there have always been "undesired objects" in the fron that I could not get out of the frame). Thanks for your help in advance, Joerg http://www.dauerer.de
michaelging
Someone with local knowlegde might be better able to help you , but if you go to Yahoo, search, Images, Zakim Bridge, hundreds of photos of this bridge can be seen. You might be able to figure out the best location to photograph the bridge from one or several of these photos. I hope this helps.
swenson
Since they have torn down the express way follow the Fredom Trail over the bridge theres a small park on the right and a pier on ther other side. You should be able to get some good shots might even be able to get the sky line in the back groung. Been planing on going over with a tripod and getting some night shots when its light up at nige. There's also a public parking on the other side that you might be able to get some shots from the top floor.
charles_stobbs3
I leve near Boston and that bridge is noy particularly worth wasting film on IMHO. For one thing the bridge slopes quite a bit going from a tunnel on one end to an elevated highway on the other. There are a lot of good photo ops in Boston, don't go crazy over that one. dmanthree
That could have been a great bridge, but they really blew it. No pedestrian access! Sorry, but that is just plain stupid. You can stroll across the Golden Gate, Brooklyn, and numerous other great bridges, but the Lenny Z isn't one of them.
