luc3
Does anyone know if the Tamron 28-75mm 2.8 fits the full censored Canon 5D? Thanks

bongeiste
Kirk, are you "sensoring" yourself?
jojo_ma
Good in the center, not very good at the edges. But then again, most standard zooms are like this on FF.
yakim_peled1
300$ lens on a 3000$ body? I'd re-think this again if I were in your shoes. Happy shooting, Yakim.
chiswick_john
"300$ lens on a 3000$ body? I'd re-think this again if I were in your shoes." - so you have tested it then Yakim? I have - very sharp from center to corner at all focal lengths when stopped down to F8-F11 and not bad wide open either. On my 5D it is sharp enough to induce coloured interference patterns on fine detail like my 50mm 1.4 so it's possibly a little too sharp. Also very little distortion but some obvious CA ( easily corrected in software these days) What let it down for me was the poor AF at wide angles - it would back and front focus everytime but I could manualy focus it pretty well if I had the time. Also the out of focus areas (bokeh) were awfull IMO.
apdx
much better than any $300 stuff from Canon. great bokeh at 75mm focal length in my experience. Canon 24-70L beats it when it comes to AF speed easily, but image quality comparison is a function of sample variance.. btw, for $300 it's a steal, I could not find one for that price
