sk_szekiat
Definitely the best coffee in London! Kicks starbuck's ass any day! rj
I don't have a relevant pic to share, but would like to add that not having a good coffee shop is one of the things I miss having moved out of a city to a small town. People around here think Maxwell House in a thermos is a premium coffee drink. I'd kill for a Starbucks, much less a place that kicks their ass. stuart_richardson
Thanks Walter. That is a medium format image -- Hasselblad 203FE with an 80mm f/2.8 Planar C T* (from the late 70s). The film was Fuji Acros developed in rodinal 1:100...my absolute favorite fine grain/high sharpness combo. I don't believe that is a scan. I did not have a scanner in Japan, so that is a digital photo (DMR) of the negative on the light box taken with a macro lens.

jack_lo_..._t_o
Gentile's in Montreal, in the apparel district. A poolroom & a hang-out for the local Ginos, along with the fashionistas from the Apparel Mart across the street; but the hands down best cappuccino I've ever had. This'd be a good time to link to Weston's "Hot Coffee" cup in the desert.
walterh
One really nice thread as far as the image quality is concerned if I may say so, not a "member" in the Leica forum. Stuart I took the "Leica forum" too serious and was amazed by the tonality and richness in detail for 35mm. And there was the Leica present. I realize that small jpg images should not show the difference in film format but sometimes the larger format still comes across. I like the acros too for medium format but so far seem to struggle a bit to get the tonality I was used to from Ilford, probaly just need to do more of it. Perhaps it is because I switched to vitamin C based developer and I still need to get used to it.
