todd peach seattle, washi
Just curious: are you going to D&P in Pakistan? If the product isn't for sale there, might you have difficulty getting a decent print out of it? It has been my experience with XP-2 and similar products that it really helps if the printer is familiar with it and has a 'pre-set' channel for it. haris_ashraf
Todd I would like to have the film processed and then print it in my home darkroom using BW paper when I am go back to US in August. I can get Fuji Frontier prints here as proofs. I have been able to scrounge some expired BW Fotre film from local shops here and will have to wait to process it when I get back. I have not been able to find someone who would process it here in Islamabad Pakistan. Haris
joe_s7
"Larry Dressler, May 21, 2006; 05:58 a.m. Just get any Colour c-41 film and convert it on your computer." Not everyone likes the look of desaturated color negs (myself being one of them). Like Haris, I enjoy spending hours in the darkroom practising an artform, rather than scanning & clicking in a few minutes with a computer. larrydressler
Joe I understand. I also use both Wet and Dry. I prefer real silver film over the C-41 type for both. I know some people feel differant than I do but I respect all artist and what ever Mediums they chose. Sometimes you may need a hammer but only have a brick. You can get the job done with the brick if you know what you are doing. I was just offering another option incase Haris could not get what he needed. All do respect Larry
