Craig_Cooper11664875449
Does anyone have any examples of OOF areas using this lens on the wider end of the aperture scale?

Craig_Cooper11664875449
Thanx Trevor, Im looking for something similar to my 35 Lux in coverage area that actually looks good in the OOF areas. I have the VC 40mm f/2.0 in a Nikon SL mount and that is ceertainly creamy in the OOF areas. Do you have anything taken with it outside by chance? terry_rory
<p> Outside stuff, yes but not wide open. justin_viiret
<p>This one's at fairly close to the subject, f2.8, Fuji Astia, with the MC version of the lens.</p> <a href=" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://static.flickr.com/19/102113156_ae8e9371d3.jpg" width="334" height="500" alt="Sunlit Kit" /></a>
justin_viiret
<p>For more, I've got a whole bunch <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jviiret/tags/voigtlander40f14nokton/">here, all taken with the 40 Nokton MC</a>, and there's also a <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/nokton40mm/pool/">Flickr group devoted to the lens</a> with lots of images in it. You should be able to find some examples of the lens's results in most scenarios there.</p>
ben_johnson3
This was shot wide-open with the S.C. version on Fuji Reala:</p> </p> <a href=" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://static.flickr.com/34/63822106_c7285dba37.jpg" width="335" height="500" alt="Fortune Reading, Kuala Lumpur" /></a> </p> </p> This one on Efke 50: </p> <a href=" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://static.flickr.com/95/234558286_6123576dec.jpg" width="500" height="331" alt="Fungus" /></a> </p> The Bokeh really smoothes out when you close down a stop. andrew robertson
I really like this lens. This was shot at around f/2 if I recall.<div></div>
stephen_w.
So much for the quality of the near vs. far bokeh: one being "bad", the other being "good". Both look good to me, IMHO.
andrew robertson
And one wide open for you.
stephen_w.
That's lees good. Everything seems to be bokeh, LOL. I was briefly tempted to try the lens, but my resolution is less gear of all types. Hell, because of my job I rent furniture. :*0 Thanks
