miriam_griffin
I need to know what film should be used for the Minox C, and, if possible, where to find it.I heard that 126 film worked with these cameras, and I ordered some, but it didn't fit. pace_stanley
Here are some more links. These should keep you busy and peak even more interest in the Minox 8x11 film format. The Minox C takes the same size film as all of the small Minox cameras from the Riga to the TLX. Have fun! :) (just use copy and paste for the below links) http://kcbx.net/~mhd/2photo/slitter/slit.htm http://www.jandcphoto.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=25 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=search&ci=334&Q=&O=NavBar http://www.frugalphotographer.com/catMinoxFilm.htm http://www.frugalphotographer.com/catBluefire.htm (I'm slitting and reloading this film) http://www.minox.org/mhspublications/MinoxMemo/online/techtips5.htm http://www.minoxlab.com/
MTC Photography
126 film is also a double chamber cassette film, like 110 and Minox film. However 126 film is used in 126 cameras such as Rollei A26, producing a square frame size of 26.5 x 26.5mm.The width of 126 film is 35mm<P> Minox film was the earliest film which used a double chamber cassette, with film width of only 9.4mm and frame size of 8x11mm.<P> The best places to buy Minox film are JandC, Frugalphotographer<P>
subminiature
Obtaining film depends where you are. J&C have been selling off large stocks of Tmax 400 at a good price as they are about to expire. No doubt they have been stored correctly and there is still plenty of time left on the expiry date to run a few films though. The prime source of Minox film is www.8x11film.com who distribute Minox film and Minox factory loaded films including Ilford Delta 100, Copex, Imagelink, Tmax 400 and Agfa slide film as well as Minox Minopan and Minocolor Pro 100. They have trading partners in several countries including J&C (who have exclusively Adox in 8x11 cartridges) in USA.
