scott_ferris
Anybody that agrees to that type of contract is not a lowballer but a missguided charity working fool. Take care all, Scott.
erin.e
Not nessesarily Scott they did say to include rates with the application. They want a fair bit of work done over those few days, and some long days as well, with the evening social functions, names and captions for all images, All processing and digital work done by the photographer, sending of images to news agencys that require them by their deadlines by the photographer ( send them an invoice as well of course), eternal rights of publication of all images in any medium for them, and the "vendor" to retain copyright. Hmmmmmmm $350 per hour......
scott_ferris
Fair point Erin ;-). It is the eternal rights for any medium yet to be invented that really got me smiling. Take care and happy new year, Scott.
craig_gillette
It struck me that they wouldn't be surprised if they got a big, big proposal. I don't see any individual being able to get all that done in the time discussed and that they are looking for a serious business proposal involving a team of photographers and supporting organization. Or they are clueless about what level of effort they are asking for.
erin.e
Agreed Craig, the minimum photographic staff would be a photographer and a photographer/assistant to do this job, and they would be putting in many hours.
