kevin m.
I think some of you should admit that you've done a bit of poking fun at the fondling mentality here! Let the harmless fondlers go, and concentrate on the real nonsense like: <i>'AF cameras don't work in dim light; Automatic cameras take control away from the photographer; Digital images will never equal the 'magic' of film'</i> Etc., etc.. EricM
"Brad, sorry if I was rude to you but I was just expressing an opinion just like 90% of us here." I feel you have to stop stating your opinion as statistical fact. That would clear 90% of the problems Rene. Photography is in a state of metamorphous, we're no where near the crux, and most of us may have the ability to look back and laugh at today. I really admire people that make photographs and can enjoy them with others regardless of origin.

dennis_couvillion
"Allen's been entirely too agreeable lately. Too much Cap'n Morgan in the eggnog, maybe?" dennis_couvillion
Let me add a comment about my friend, Allen, in the context of all this bickering here. Allen can stop an argument with just one statement... any statement, because the combatants all stop to scratch their heads and say "What....?" ;>) Just kidding, Allen. You know I love you, man. Allen Herbert
"Allen's been entirely too agreeable lately. Too much Cap'n Morgan in the eggnog, maybe?" I'm going through a lovein stage. Or, maybe too much Cap'n Morgan and my brain has become sozzled, or my new Grant busby style haircut'''hey, the girls are decloaking. Peace brothers. Of course that can all change if there's not enough photos to feed me. Then we are back to Allen s'hole.

dennis_couvillion
Allen, wait... on second thought, shoot Tri-X and send the film to Al Kaplan. We know he can make 16x24 prints at home. ;>) Dennis

flaviosganzerla
Dennis sorry for not answering to your question but I have something to say here. I saw at least 3 times Scott posting comments and then the topic turning to something like a war (or at least one offending another). Maybe it is time to discuss Scott Eaton presence here on photo.net
paulr
I noticed that too about Scott as I am loading up a brick of Tri-x and a few rolls of Efke for a short trip down to California.
dennis_couvillion
"Not so sure Dennis, those old hippies, well, they have reformed." Allen, I'm sure Al Kaplan can do a good job printing your nudie shots. Al said he likes to use fibre paper. Oh, wait... I'm not sure if he meant for printing or smoking. I'll check and get back to you on this... ;>) Dennis
