If I want a friend or someone I'm telling about my photos on your site what is the best and easy way for

them to look at my photos and bio.

Perhaps just ask your friend to paste http://www.photo.net/shared/community-member?user_id=2271183 in to browser and click go?

 

Alternatively, you can also set up your PN personal URL as Assante, then you can type in www.photo.net/photos/assante and it should bring you to your PN portfolio.

Also, there is a Member Directory under the Exploring tab above, if someone signs onto photo.net and then searches for your name. But you probably want a direct link, like described above. Your name will come up on a yahoo or google search, but for now your many other credits come first! ~

Marco - Hopefully someone will tell you how to set this up... As a paid member you should have a special URL = photo.net/photos/assante is what it would be. I don't know if you have to set it up in your workspace or what. I know I have a URL that is www.photo.net with the extension of /photos/ball

 

This is, of course, a much easier way for friends to see your work on here. If you don't get a response.. email me and I'll see if I can get an answer for you.

To select a screen name : Go to My Workspace > Personal information > update the information above > enter selection in text field

Marco, the suggestions above are the way to go. But, understand, and make sure your friends understand, that the name portion of the URL, "assante" in the above example, IS case sensitive. That is www.photo.net/photos/assante and www.photo.net/photos/Assante are different URLs.
