leicaglow Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 Allan, I use both. I don't get it either. I recently bought a large Impact 5-in-1 reflector and got the stand with it. Both are superb quality. The stand is better quality than the Photoflex or Bogen stands I use in my studio. In fact I did a recent fashion shoot outdoors and took along the Impact because I wanted the warmth of the gold reflector. My Bogen stands were having trouble staying up in the breeze, even with weights, and the Impact stand was doing fine without weights. I'd buy Impact stuff again without hesitation. m3rdpwr Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 I have the impact 5 in 1 and the convertable light/boom stand and I like it. The Impact doesn't have a black insert which is too bad since it could double as a gobo or a background for a head shot.
