By the way, I had a look at Jeff's website. Very nice. I love the BW concert and boxing shots.

Beautiful light, great composition.

Homeward bound and fruit stand do it for me, I like waiting for

Mona also. The scans seem a little muddy tho, on my monitor at

least.

rescan some of the shots.

There are some great photos in that folder, that i like. But what do i know.

However, your choice of going for colour in the evening shots i find a bit strange. Why did you?

What "specific comments", Jeff? That "even the leica could not capture..."? You gotta be joking - i know you are not a gear freak. Or the scans? The scan quality has nothing to do with this post, imo.

As Peter A said, and some more - a few shots that are working makes it great already.

As to capturing the feeling of Paris - well, everybody should have a different perception about the feeling of Paris (or any other place), unless it's rooted in postcards and overused symbols instead of personal experience.

I went for color in the evening, because my last two rolls of film were Superia 1600. No

kidding. However, I've been converting some of them to BW for a show. I do prefer them in

that mode. Perhaps I'll replace them on the page one of these days.

they just don't do much for me......sorry....perhaps you wanted to hear 'great' 'i feel like i'm

there' or 'nice lens, whats the serial?'
