Why do you show, or not show your images online?

A 120 kb file loads pretty fast. That is the beauty of it. And it is fun,well sometime. If it is not fun,why choose to do it. I use it as a quasi home page. It is an alright choice never to load up a portfolio here and noone has a right to dismiss those who choose not to or limit their size and who use PN for other purposes.

As a student studying photography Photo.net is incredibly usefull. It gives me the chance to get fairly unbiased oppinions of my work, by poeple all over the world who don't know me. I value every comment that I get and always try out the sujestions people make.I choose the best of my work to go on Photo.net, as I want to know if they are as good as I think. Sadly I have had some unfiar comments about factors in one or two of my Photos that were beond my controle. I understand that I'm not always going to get the rave reviews that I get from my freinds and family all the time, but somethings cant be helped, even with Photoshop.

I sure will when I get a good scanner or whatever gizmo it takes.
