red_buckner
My original buyer vanished, so I'm again offering a hundred-foot roll of Panatomic X. It's been in my fridge since I bought it in 1979! I want someone to shoot pictures with it. It's yours for ten bucks plus shipping. Drop me a note ASAP. 25asa
I think Jay on here would take it off your hands. I'll email you his address. If he doesn't take it, I'll buy it off you.
25asa
By the way this is not the same Jay that originally asked to buy it. This is Jay Ludvigh. As said I'll take it off your hands if he doesn't. Consider it sold. Email him first and make arrangements. If not email me back.
red_buckner
Good, Scott. Either you or he are my buyer. I'll look forward to seeing shots from the classic emulsion.

elek_ludvigh
Hi Red, I am a huge fan of Panatomic X. I check in on photonet daily but missed your first post by a couple of hours. I will e mail you regarding payment and pay today. Scott was kind enough to alert me re. it being available again so I will be splitting it with him. You can rest assured that it is going to good homes. Thanks! Jay Ludvigh
Mike Gammill
D'Oh! Missed another one! Anyway, whoever gets it, enjoy shooting it. Great film. Regards, Mike
25asa
If you guys may have recalled, I had a post previously on here last week to help write Kodak to bring this film back for a run. If you really want to still use this stuff again, write them!
Mike Gammill
Yeah, I've been thinking about writing. I think we need to convince Kodak's major stockholders that there is a market for the film. Loved the post I saw in an earlier thread showing what Panatomic-X would look like in modern packaging. Hmm, wonder what Super-XX would look like? :)
christiaan_phleger___honol
Double D'Oh! I guess living all the way out here in Hawaii I'm bound to miss a few things...but not again! I guess I'll have better luck getting Kodak to make a batch of Pan-X. Just think of it in 120! I sure wish I had shot more of it when it was around. 25asa
I shot some 120 of this last year. Here are some examples. Keep in mind the scan may have corrected some of the high contrast of this film.
25asa
Another one.

glsmyth
Hi there, just came across this thread. I also have a 100' roll that I am willing to part with. Actually, it is just a little under 100' as I pulled about 20 exposures from it to check it out. The film appears to be just fine. It was given to me by a friend who tossed just about all of his non-digital gear my way. I have been getting rid of the slide film on eBay (I have many rolls of Sensia and two 100' rolls of Velvia, in case anyone is interested) so please let me know if anyone is interested in buying or trading for B&W film. As far as the Panatomic-X is concerned, I just don't have experience with it and do not want to go through the testing, as it is no longer available. I will send the roll for $9 plus shipping, or am happy to trade it for other B&W film of any size. My email address is GLSmyth@Yahoo.com.
