lloyd_chambers
If you are in the San Francisco bay area and have the Olympus 24mm shift lens, I'd like to test it on my EOS 1Ds Mark II (a simple adapter ring does the trick--I use one already on the Olympus 35mm shift lens). Depending on the results, I may want to buy it from you. :) contact me at olympus@llc4.com

lloyd_chambers
I tested the Olympus 35mm/f2.8 PC shift lens on the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II 16.7 MP digital. It's outstanding, with better performance than the Nikon 35mm/f2.8 PC. So I'm eaqer to take a look at the 24mm...

oben_c
Hi Lloyd, I use the 24mm f3.5 shift on my EOS 20D and it performs admirably. I haven't tried the Canon 24mm f3.5 TS lens so I can't compare it. My experience is that there is quite a lot of chromatic aberration visible at the peripheries ie. fully shifted edges. It is easily corrected in PS. The contrast and colour performance are great. The colour is slightly on the colder side with this lens. Resolution is superb. It's a great combo and works well with the adapter because of the manual stop down button. I've found similar degrees of CA in the 21mm and 24mm f2 lenses with the 20D. I don't know how it would fare on a full frame body. Mine is not for sale. Regards.
