gary evans
As I've heard happens relatively often, I have lost the cap for the 10-pin port on my F100. I know I have seen them on Ebay from time to time, but is there anywhere to buy these that will reliably have them in stock? I've searched google and can't seem to find a retailer... Thanks! constance_cook
Gary: Look in your camera bag. Seriously. As often as not, they've rubbed off in the bag. Conni
bob_riddell
Try www.cre8tivetools.com (I think thats the spelling) they have all kinds caps, plugs, lens shades-etc. I've personally gotten this item and similar items from them in the past.
gary evans
Conni - Believe me, I've ripped the bag apart looking for it. It was there when I last used the camera, and when I went to take the camera out next, it wasn't. My guess is it was barely hanging on and was brushed off when I put the camera away last. Bob- Thanks for the link!
ShunCheung
Any larger camera stores should have it, along with the viewfinder (glass) eyepiece, etc. At least I lose those things somewhat frequently. :-(

ci_p
I paid nikon some money for a bunch of them, since I've had the same sort of problem. I don't think retailers stock them because they are not a normal stock item, or something.
todd peach seattle, washi
I buy stuff like this from an ebay store 'americaneagle_camera'. He's got this and the PC cap together for $5.95 + 1.50 s/h. Good place to buy rear lens caps, body caps, and eyepieces as well.
rhaytana__tim_adams_
The Hogan F100 book has the answer: the part # for the 10 pin remote release is 1K467-156; for the sync socket, it's 1K467-157. The appropriate Nikon phone # is 310 516-7124.
cooper8168
I've also bought from American Eagle on eBay. Authorized Camera in Sherman Oaks, CA, should also have them, but I'd try American Eagle first.
dick_van_nostrand
Cut a small piece of black electrical tape or gaffer tape just large enough to cover the opening. It'll do the job temporarily or permanently if you don't mind the camera looking "professional".
