mark_adamsbaum
This isn't the most earthshaking question but here it is...Whenever I open a photo file in PS7 it comes up with the grid already on. I have to go into the "View" menu and uncheck "extras" to get rid of it. Those two extra mouse clicks exhaust me ;). I've gone through my preferences and options but can't seem to find how to keep the grid from coming up with every photo. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks. sean de merchant httpw
Hit CTRL-' (that is a single quote) which turns off the grid. This can also be found in the View->Show submenu. hope this helps, Sean
knobstone
Mark, if the image was closed with the grid on, then when you open it again, it will be on. If you turn the grid off and close the image, then next time you open this image, the grid will be off. Good luck, Joe.
