"Critique Photo's" Crashing

Why, when one is rating in the "critique photo's" section, is the

message "Rating Insert Failed" displayed?

 

I find that once this has happened, for no apparent reason (although

it often appears just after you've rated something), it's very hard

to kick-start it again. Quite often one has to abandon rating

altogether.

 

The other problem is that, after a short time, the picture will not

display but instead a box appears in it's place with a red "x" in the

top left corner. Once this happens it is also virtually impossible to

rate any more pictures.

 

Finally, why am I sometimes told I have already rated a photo when I

haven't, only to be advised that I can amend the rating when I am not

actually allowed to do so?

Actually, contrary to what I've written above, the red cross does not appear in the corner of the images, it's just happened to me again.

This happen when someone delete a photo that is in the active "Request for critique" queue. It is a problem that is know by management of this site but nothing has been done on it yet. I too find it frustrating and stopped using this feature. I now rate only by the photo critique "forum".
