mattvardy
HOLY CRAP!!! So many changes so little time to adjust! While I do like the new display(s!), there are a couple things I'd like to mention before you give-in to your imagination?s next burst of energy... #1 Details and Custom Data Fields: Personally, I liked having this information below images (my own and others'). Photographers, myself included, sometimes add important information about their image that they wish passer-by?s and potential critiquers to view before judging their photo. One of my CDFs is called "My Thoughts on Image" where I tell the viewer what I intended them to take from the image, and/or how to view it (and in what context). With the new changes, I'm afraid some people will critique an image without bothering to view the "DETAILS" link. #2 Copyright Statement bug My copyright statement is usually ? [copyright symbol] 2004 Matt Vardy all rights reserved. Now I've noticed that the ? [copyright symbol] has been replaced with a ? [Question mark]. Why is this and can you please correct this error? I assume it is a problem with texts? No - it has not been copied from MS Word (I've read about this problem in a previous thread), it was typed right on the add a photo page yet it turned out as a question mark. I tried to go to the Edit Image page and try to re-type my copyright statement, but when I reached the Edit Image page, the text field for the copyright statement was no-where to be found. ? mattvardy
You will notice all the question marks in my above post becuase it was copied from MS Word; some are meant to be apostrophes while others were supposed to be copyright symbols. However, the copyright statement bug (that i mentioned occurs on my images) was not copied from word like above; it was simply written in the add a photo page as i was adding images - but still (without even copying from Word) the copyright symbols turned out to be question marks. Go figure.
bacsa
"With the new changes, I'm afraid some people will critique an image without bothering to view the "DETAILS" link. " Those people never read it before and would not read it whatever you'd do. Reading doesn't fit within the 2-seconds viewing time.
