chinwe_f._johnson
To my great surprise I went to a major aquarium to see whether the management would have interest in purchasing a series of posters that I had made for sale in their gift shop. I was told that the images were exactly what they wanted and that they would like to use the images to also be framed and posted throughout the aquarium on a permamnent basis in addition to being sold in their gift shop. I have no idea whether I should also charge to have my posters used to decorate their aquarium or should the advertisement of my work be sufficient? Thanks in advance for your help. andy_shand1
if i were you i would have an informal chat with the client about the general revenues of their operation and what would be a fair loading for your input....otherwise it will be a shot in the dark ..maybe you will get lucky and maybe not. robert_lawrence
Quit while you're ahead ... before they charge you for the advertising space you are taking on their walls. You might ask them to put a ticket alongside saying 'For Sale in the gift shop'. Most outlets calculate the value of their advertising wall space like shelf space in $ per square foot. Count yourself blessed.
