Worldwide Photography Volunteer Opportunities

I'm looking for an opportunity to volunteer in the photography

business. I would go anywhere where someone offers an affordable

opportunity and accepts a slightly imperfect english speaking, very

curious and unreasonably enthusiastic tripod boy.

As a college student I posted my info and desire to photograph National Parks on SCA (Student Conservation Association). I obtained a position and was paid a small stipend, given lodging within the park, and a vehicle to drive. Most importantly, I was given access to all the "special locations" and worked with the researchers that came to the park. I photographed research and worked in a darkroom to produce historic photographs that helped document the evolution of the park. While photographing the work they required, I collected a number of photos only possible with my backstage pass. I am only a hobbiest but my suggestion is to dig deeper in your subject of interest.
