j._scott_schrader
About a month ago I remember seeing a thread about a photog that was spending the winter in a ghost town in Idaho. I've searched and searched for it without any luck finding that thread. He had a request of some sort for trading 8x10 film and Azo paper for an image that he would produce over the winter. Can somebody tell me his name and maybe a URL for his web-site...I am interested in seeing the results of his project. Thanks, Scott

michael_pry
Yes it is Dan Smith. Dan called me as he does from time to time just this past Sunday. We had a great chat and he will be staying till June. He has been up all winter and is doing quite well. He has a generator, propane for fridge/heat, and solar 12V electric for lighting. He is using Malibu lights for lighting! Dan is a great guy and one of the most helpful you'll ever want to meet. I think he is contenplating a book. I'm going to lean on em' hard to put one together.
