michaeldaggett
I have a digital rebel and have taken quite a bit of shots with it. But it seems to have an issue. The other day I was taking pictures and once I got back to the computer a couple of the shots were not there. Then again today I took some more pics, went to the computer and again a couple of shots that I know I took were not on the card. Has anyone else seen this problem? paul -
Are the missing shots RAW? Are you using software that can't read RAW files? I have noticed that RAW files don't even show up in folder/file listings unless the software supports the format. For instance, the browser in Photoshop Elements 2.0 won't show the existence of RAW files that are plainly visible to the browser in Photoshop CS. hkbmac
Are you turnign the camera off while the images are being written to the card?
michaeldaggett
Damn, Im a bonehead.. I was changing modes during the shoot, from full auto to Av or Tv and I have Raw as my setting for everything but Auto, and sure enough when "Browsing" in Photoshop CS, I was looking at the pics, and they are not in a sequential order, they are in order by filename, and the raw images are first, then the jpgs. So what was happening was I was looking at the JPG's and noticed some shots missing, sure enought when I scroll up there they are. I hate being stupid sometimes..
