elek_ludvigh
I used to use Edwal FG 7 1 to 15 in 9% sodium sulfite and liked its grain and compensating characteristics in harshly lit scenes. None of the stores in Orlando or Daytona Beach carry it currently. B&H has it, but only for in store sale due to "Shipping regulations." Falcon Safety Products makes no mention of it on their web site, although to my knowledge, they are the manufacturer. Do any of you know how I can get some? Thanks! trooper
I've gotten it from Freestyle and Calumet in the last year or so.
hans_beckert
Ask your local dealer to order some for you.....
eric friedemann
A reasonably well-stocked camera store will have some. It isn't a rare product. In addition to the usual suspects listed above, B&H has Gallons, Quarts, and 16 ouncers: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=16679&is=REG
silverhalide1949
New supplier of Edwal is BKA try www.bkaphoto.com.
jim_appleyard
As Hans said, or Adorama in NY. I don't think B&H is shipping liquids any longer. Adorama uses UPS. B&H uses Fed X. BTW, what do you get when you cross UPS with Fed X? FED UP!
john_elder1
Bought some from Adorama last week. No problem
elek_ludvigh
Thanks, Folks, It is on its way from Calumet. The has-mat shipping was almost as expensive as the developer, but it will be worth it to give it a try. I guess the photo stores in Central Florida are more limited in their inventories than elsewhere. Perhaps also in their ability (or willingness) to order for customers, since the two I asked about it last week both said they would have to have a minimum order of $50.00 to get it. Thanks again, Jay
titrisol
I used FG7 once or twice, and it was a good all around developer. How good is it for pushing?
john_elder1
Used with 15% sodium sulfite FG7 is very good for a one stop push
