Your Christmas wish list?

Jay - That's why my wife's oral surgeon, who is a DDS and an MD, practices as a DDS. The Insurance Company / Medicaid forms don't overwhelm the practice, and the regional Medicare boards aren't setting his remuneration for services rendered - - - and, he isn't "on call" every third or fourth night for serious emergencies..

"An M6 classic without the VF flare, BP brass top plate and the M6TTL metering with the center dot. In fact, I already acquired all the parts and a customized one is already in works. Hopefully it'll be ready by X'mas."

Sounds like quite a camera, Henry. In fact, it sounds like an MP!

I'd like complete technical and artistic virtuosity; the kind that makes viewers of my photos feel as if they've never actually seen so vividly and so eloquently before. Otherwise, I agree with the person who grumbled about the crass materialism of the holiday.

Rob, in fact that's what the MP should be, instead of reverting to the awkward rewind crank, the vintage BL frame lever, the rubbery cheap-looking leatherette. I'll wage a bet that Leica will come out with perhaps an "MP6" that incorporates the features equivalent to my "wish list". Yes, give me the traditional "red dot". The "MP6" would be the perfect M to me.

On my Xmas list (also my New Year's Day list, President's Day list, MLK Day list, birthday list and Easter/Passover list - since all will have pased by the time it's available):

Panasonic DMC-LC1 or Leica Digilux-2.

Got everything I need otherwise. "...and Alexander wept, for he had no more worlds to conquer."

Happy Holidays!

Al- keep using it because if you stop it that baby hair will proptly

fall out. Jay- I could not agree with you more. I have not been in

any insurance plans for the past seven years or so and am

busier GI-wise than ever. Patients are given a bill that they

submit to their insurance company and are usually reimbursed

80%. I did not know the details about emergency

medicare/medicaid and that is interesting.
