Excellent Service from A&I Lab in Los Angeles

About three weeks ago, I shot one roll of 120 print film of formal

portraits of friends. I live in the San Francicso Bay Area and used an

A&I mailer to send it to them in Los Angles for processing.

I have been using A&I for several years. A couple of years ago, one

single rolls sent to them was lost. A&I said they never received it,

but I have never lost anything (yet) when it is multiple rolls in a

larger package.

After two weeks, I still hadn't received antyhing back this time. I

sent them e-mail with the mailer serial number and got an e-mail back

from Brian Alexander (A&I stands for Alexander and Ishihara) and a

call from them, all within the same day. They indicated that the

prints were sent back to me on the previous Friday, and I indeed got

everything the following day (Wednesday). I guess US Mail just took a

little longer this time, 15 days around trip, including processing time.

I am glad that A&I is very concerned about their customers, even

though it was merely one roll of film this time.
