henricus
I like to capture abstracts, especially linear ones. I used the aforementioned digital camera and desaturated for a b&w effect.<div></div>

sk_arts
I do not consider these abstract. They are very recognisable as to what it is. Crop out the downward facing lights, then you'd have not only an abstract but a more interesting image. They're cool as they are, but too concrete. sk_arts
on second thought, crop out the wall. And on the one where the wall isn't there, drop the shadow to where there is no detail.
lex_jenkins
Hardly anyone agrees on a definition of abstraction. I wouldn't worry about it.
jack_lo_..._t_o
Here's a negative where I shot off to get to #1 without looking at anything, plus whatever the lab glued onto it. I wanted some of the numbers to come through but they wouldn't. Shot with an OM-2, then desaturated & manipulated in PS. I guess you could call it Digital. Henry your shots are great. It's true that one could recognise familiar objects in them, but one could also imagine them as pure shapes and tones. By photographic standards they are abstracted compositions. I like the second one best.<div></div>
