The Elusive Bugatti

Someone (Tito, I think) wanted to see a photo of elephant radiator

cap of the Bugatti Royalle, generally thought to be the rarest car in

the world ($5,000,000 +/-). There were at least 50 Bugattis at the

Concours and many more being raced this weekend at Laguna Seca. Thank

you President Bush for the tax cut that allows the super rich to

restore and maintain these works of art.<div>005mQl-14113884.jpg.88e952f3bbbe424907fa647c6bd520c0.jpg</div>

Thank you Sanford. This is the first time I saw an excellent close-up of the elephant. I think E.Bugatti was a circus fan. Yes, Cadillacs V12 and V16. Chrysler Imperial, Pierce Arrow, Horch, Maybach, Marmon V16, Duesenberg, Rolls Royce, Packard V12, Cord, Auburn, Isota Fraschini, Hispano-Suiza and many more.

One of the finest car collections was owned by Tom Monaghan, of Detroit, the founder of Domino's Pizza, and included a $10,000,000 Bugatti. He read the book, "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, and it changed his life. He now spends all his time giving his money away to charitable causes. The car collection is long gone. This man is the true American dream.
