pat_patteson
Okay, I have this awkward feeling about asking this question, though I don't think I should. I have some 120 color negatives that are, let's say, "challenging". What I mean is, without context or explanation, a few of them could be seen to fall on the wrong side of the art vs. porn fence. I am fully confident that they are done with the right intention (not tittilation). Anyway, my usual lab processed and cut them but will not print them. Can someone recommend a lab that does quality work, is relatively inexpensive, and does not restrict content? I have searched the archives using Google, and could not find any answers, though I have a feeling this has been asked before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. steven_clark
I don't know much about such things so I can't recommend a lab. In the end you might just have to do it yourself on an inkjet.
stephen hazelton
I've noticed in Shutterbug, they usually have several labs listed which advertise "uncensored" processing- you might check into them.

steve_levine
Most labs around here (NYS) have a serious issue with nudity. Some will allow nudity, but no contact between individuals.Id be very carefull of what I sent to any lab. There are labs that advertise that they will do anything.I can just see the lab workers collection! With the WWW it is likely your wife or GF could wind up a star!Shoot it with digital print it yourself. wind.dk
Find a professional lab, that actually is professional in all respects including their attitude. As long as the content doesn't make the pictures illegal, a serious lab will handle it. The only exception to that rule is a strongly opinionated lab, that do extra good work with pictures they like, and won't handle anything that they don't feel like doing something special with. They'll turn down pictures of pets, children and tourists as well.
r.t. dowling
I think A&I Color Lab in Hollywood will work with nude images, as long as the subjects are of legal age. Their web site is www.aandi.com -- you can e-mail them and they'll give you a prompt, courteous answer. Very good people to work with.
