dave_yoder3
First, please note there are TWO pages to this collection (top left of page). It's a lazy photo template I used from iPhoto or Photoshop, can't remember. And they're not well color corrected yet. It's very loose, intentionally. Getting a feel from friends as to what passes mustard. Or gas. The story is on the largest youth circus in the world, in a town amongs the corn fields of Indiana called Peru. It's a heritage that's been passed down generations, reaching back to when it was the winter quarters for many of the travelling big-tops a century ago. Many of trainers today were in the circus themselves as kids. I want to do more than just the circus though... at the moment I'm thinking of it as my "Indiana" story, with the circus as the magnet. I first shot it for a certain magazine with yellow borders. During that shoot, I had a lens go down (don't EVEN ask about my R8) and I think THREE forum members offered to send me their own loaners. Turns out I didn't need them, but I am still awed by the generosity. I'd appreciate any thoughts on which redundancies to keep or lame-frames to toss. Thanks, dave http://homepage.mac.com/davidyoder/circussite/circussite.html
andrew_lee2
Well first of all congratulations for being published in Geo Dave. Here are the ones that I like: Aerial Hall of Fame, MM7081 (reflections in the window), Backyard Trap 2 (better than Backyard Trap 1 and Hanging Feet, and also makes those other two redundant), Amy Baby Kiss, Sitting on Bleachers, By the Bus, On Bus Sleeping, Blister, Ropehang, MM7081 (girls with eyes tightly squeezed), and Eric's Hug. <p>There's a lot of visually clever stuff here, but not all of it works for me. My favorite out of the whole lot is Backyard Trap 2.
