roger c
Good to see Leica haven't taken their eye off the ball, what with the tiresome distraction of making two new cameras. I eagerly anticipate the "Danish Royal Family's Third Dog Has A Litter Of Puppies" M7 (with the top plate engraved with a pawprint).

steve_lehuray1
Can somebody please explain to me how this Hermes special edition effects anybody or anything Leica other than to give Leica more money for R&D and to keep prices down for the products you and me buy. BTW, the Hermes ad that Jeff posted looks like Street Photography -- kool.
roger c
Probably a corgi...all the European royal families are interbred, so they probably have the same type of dogs ;-)
h._p.
Here, Roger, are you suggesting that our own dear Brenda is associated with that European riff-raff who cycle to work and pay proper taxes?

terry_rory
I will continue to save for the Uranium and asbestos, Windscale explosion 50th anniversary special. As for 'Brenda' our Queen (Obergruppenfuhrer is more like it!) I am still waiting for Box 24 in the Bodleian library in Oxford to have its contents revealed.... http://www.fpp.co.uk/bookchapters/WSC/Monckton.html Then we may really find out about the Royal's true allegiances at the outbreak of WW2 and not just the cosy 'spin' we have been forced to swallow ever since. Maybe Leica will commemorate this with a Box 24 'special' engraved with Nazi emblems. (The Queen can then replace her trusty Leica M3) P.s. Any American reading this, horrified at my disrespect of the queen mother, may like to peruse this.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/queenmother/article/0,2763,677164,00.html She was'nt such a cuddly old lady after all. Our royal family is a violent, reactionary, racist, dysfuntional and obscenely rich family that gives the Borgias a damned good run for their money. Some of you may have read how the Author of 'Harry Potter' books (JK Rowling) is now thought to be richer than the Queen. Tosh!! One stamp collection alone (completed by the Queens grandfather, George V) is worth £110,000,000 she also personally owns countless Canalettos and emough Leonardo Da Vinci sketchs and cartoons to pay the national debt. She has land and property holdings (in her own name NOT the Crowns) worth £Billions and so on and so on. JK Rowlings is penniless in comparison with her pawltry £200,000,000. And yet the Queen still recieves millions per year (for dog food and limo's and flunkies) from the UK tax payer. I will stop now as I can see the unmarked vans drawing up outside!
