Anyway, I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but when I first got the camera, I bought Sony's "wide-angle" and "telephoto" lenses. IMHO, it was a waste of money. Both lenses had various degrees of distortion, pincushion, vignetting, etc. That camera has a really good Zeiss lens on it that'll focus as close as a half inch or so from the glass. Its telephoto isn't overwhelming, but decent. If it were me, I'd save the money and just get closer to the subject. BTW, have you tried putting a red filter on that thing and shooting in "night-mode"?? Awesome infra-red shots!! Best wishes . . . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
