walter_strong3
I apologize if this has been asked two dozen times in the last month! However, I'm travelling to Russia at the end of the month and want to use color print film. I know very little about Fuji film and here's hope'n somebody can tell me the difference between Reala and Superia (ISO 100).
neil_lupin
Reala is Reala Superia 100!!!! Its very fine grained, lovely tones and good latitute in high contrast situations. I'll be packing some for contrasty situations in Botswana next week.
emaxxman
Yes but Superia is not Reala so stop your freakin screaming. There is Superia 100 and Superia Reala 100. Superia 100 is a cheap amateur level crappy film. I hated it. Reala is a prosumer level film that is extremely fine grained, low contrast, does incredibly well in sunny situations, and is great also with flash in overcast situations. It's my standard film choice. When printed on the Fuji Frontier system, it's fantastic. Check out my portfolio. I don't have many pics but they're all Reala scanned in my a frontier machine. scott_eaton
Stick with Reala, and yes, Superia 100 and Superia-Reala 100 are completely different films. The Reala variant has lower contrast, finer grain, and is just plain the bettr film for general shooting.
