night73
So I am trying Kodak Mailers for the first time. I sent 6 rolls from Philadelphia to the Fair Lawn facility on Monday via Priority Mail. They are not yet in the Kodak system. Do I have anything to be worried about? Is this SOP for Kodak? Just curious. I won't start to panic until next week, just curious at this point. TomHildreth
Typically I experience 10-12 days for E-6 films and 15 days for Kodachrome on my film's Vermont-Fairlawn round trip. Must be a reason I have put up with this all these years, but lately I'm questioning my logic-or lack thereof.
r.t. dowling
It generally takes about two weeks for me to get my slides back from Kodak (first class both ways).
briany
Being young enough that Kodachrome is only the stuff of Paul Simon songs, I decided to give a role of K64 a shot earlier this year and sent it out to Fairlawn. After waiting about 10-14 days, (I live nearby in NYC) I gave them a call. Nothing in the system, and I had that sinking feeling. About a month after I'd mailed them out, my slides came home, wagging their tails behind them. I said f this and have been shooting other emulsions since. Seeing my grandfather's Kodachrome and comparing it to old Ecktachrome? was persuasive but still couldn't convince me the stress was worth it.
