Canon EOS 300D software update (v1.1.1)

Canon have a minor software update for the EOS 300D. The details can

Briefly it:

<ul>

<li>increases the reliability of RemoteCapture application when the

camera is used.

<li>increases the reliability of operations when used on Windows XP

and Mac OS X with [PTP] selected in [Communication].

</ul>

Do you think we really need it if we don't use RemoteCapture or connect the camera directly? Does it fix anything else like exposure problems?

Beats me. I assume if it did anything else, Canon would have mentioned it.
